The Lord's Judgment Upon Unfaithful and Compromising Leadership: The Day of Reckoning and Accountability Is Here

Senior Chief Apostle Dr. John Neuhaus · July 13, 2026

THE LORD'S JUDGMENT UPON UNFAITHFUL AND COMPROMISING LEADERSHIP

THE DAY OF RECKONING AND ACCOUNTABILITY IS HERE

For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

It takes a season of time to bring forth the fruits of a harvest. Fruits do not come in the season of planting — the fruit comes in the time of harvest when it fully matures.

The Lord gives us a picture that after a long season, and in the time of harvest, he will come and reckon with those that labor in his vineyards. He is coming suddenly to gather and receive the fruits of his vineyard and to see if the talents he has invested and the vineyards he has planted are flourishing, and if his caretakers are being productive.

A WARNING TO LEADERS AND THE SEVERE CONSEQUENCES THAT ARE COMING TO THOSE THAT HAVE WASTED THE MASTER'S GOODS AND BEEN UNFAITHFUL WITH WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN ENTRUSTED WITH

Luke 16:1,3 — And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods. And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of thee? Give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.

A steward is one who is called to manage the goods or property of the owner of the house. In this time, those that have been set as overseers over the Lord's sheep are being called to account for their stewardship.

A steward is a manager or superintendent to whom the head of the house or owner has entrusted the management of his affairs, the care of receipts and expenditures — an accounting of all of the moneys and goods they have received, including what, how, and upon whom did they spend the Lord's goods.

"For many, you will no longer be stewards over God's house, because you did not bring forth fruit worthy of repentance."

The throne of David is now being built up in the earth to prepare for his coming. The throne of David will be established with righteousness and judgment.

Judgement begins at the house of God. The day of the Lord's righteous judgments are here as he takes account of his servants. In this hour numerous accusations have arisen against many leaders and well-known ministers of the Lord, which has tarnished the name of the Lord in the earth and caused many to stumble. Many ministers of the gospel, both known and unknown, have been exposed and accused of various sinful acts and the wasting of the Lord's goods. These accusations have been with the people of God for many years and done great damage to the Christian name.

The Lord is coming to reward every man according to his works and his ways, which is not for a future date — it is for now, as the Lord cleanses his house. The time of accountability is coming quickly upon those that are over the Lord's house, that are caretakers, stewards, and leaders over his flocks. First the Lord will send his servants to receive the fruits of his vineyards. The day of accountability will first judge the keepers of his house and the keepers of his sheep, to see whether they are producing the fruits of righteousness that the Lord requires and expects.

Every man's work will be shown for what it is, because the Day of the Lord will bring it to light, as the fires of end time judgments will come suddenly and quickly to many that have built with wood, hay, and stubble, which reveal human plans, human wisdom, and human effort. The fires of judgment will burn up the works of those that have been unfaithful and self-serving in the oversight of his people, and have wasted the goods that they have been entrusted with.

The wasting of the master's goods is to waste and not use the master's goods for the purpose it was intended for.

The next three to six months and ongoing is a critical time for leaders of ministries and churches to quickly repent for any and all unrighteous deeds and thoughts. The Lord is giving to those that profess to serve him as leaders a time to repent from all kinds of sin and wickedness before many will be permanently stripped, like Aaron the high priest who was removed from his position permanently. For all unrepentant leaders, the candlestick of revelation and the Holy Spirit will be removed from their midst.

For some leaders six months may not be enough time, because the plumb line of Amos has been set in the midst of God's people, and for those that do not keep his commandments nor uphold the set standards the Father requires, the Lord will visit you no more — no more fellowship or leading of the Holy Spirit. The candlestick of revelation will be removed from your midst, you will be cut off from among the people, and complete spiritual darkness will overtake you and be your reward. You will not find your way out of the darkness, and this is the price for dishonoring and shaming your master and for not being an example to his flocks. For many, Ichabod shall be written over your work — the glory and protection will depart. Hear the word of the Lord and take heed, all that hear this prophetic message, for everyone that hears this word it is time to listen and take heed. For to whom much is given, much will be required.
